Last saturday was a friend’s wedding; with the help of her sisters and cousin, we planned the whole event.
The I.V’s, the cake, cathering and also helped her ”say YES to the dress” (that was after she had tried out like 7, or was it 8 wedding gowns..phew!).

Everything was ready and the bride was happy, but when the day finally came.. I missed it.

I missed the whole church ceremony and barely met the final dance at the reception. I had missed my over-rehearsed role in the bridal entourage.

I tried to explain to her, to give her my reasons, but she wouldn’t listen..seriously, never dissappoint a bride on her special day.

I tried to sweet-talk her, but my bridezilla won’t budge, then I remembered she had a weakness for peppered meat and soup.
I thought of fish peppersoup, but with the hot weather here eh, it sounded like punishment, therefore I settled for Asun and invited her over.

The moment she got to my house(to show me her angry face), I offered her the plate, right at the door step.

Still keeping her wayo face, she grabbed the dish, sat down and before she got half way through the meal, we were laughing it over; the fight was over.. all forgiven and forgotten…yay…the power of good food and a good heart…she’s a wonderful person indeed
